 This week I decided to begin filming. I knew that the first thing to do is decide on locations. With the pandemic I knew it was going to be hard to choose good locations while also being safe. I tried to drive around and look for safe areas preferably outside and somewhere I could distance easily. Unfortunately I couldn't find a location like that so at the end I decided that I should film in my patio, as it would be easier since I'm working alone and the location is in my house. I decided on the patio because its outside and I thought it could help get my message across that my film was all about exercise, I also thought I could take advantage of the natural light instead of worrying about it.  I also tried to maybe look into filming at a park but I didn't want to keep driving to the same park since filming was probably going to take a few days and its not likely I'll finish in one day.

actors- Since I'm working alone Its going to be hard to film just but myself although I am determined to succeed in this, even though working alone is harder I don't have anyone in my group that can cause more trouble as well as slowing me down, because of this my actors will probably be me my siblings or some of my friends. costumes- since my plan for my film is to be mostly exercise based as well as fitness based for costumes and outfits I'm planning them to consist of workout clothing like sporty shorts or leggings as well as maybe a sports bra or a loose comfortable shirt for shoes I would make sure to use some Nike lightweight running shoes since they really get the message across that what's happening is exercise   props- For props I would make sure to include the workout items I plan to use my jump rope as well as my punching bag although those are items I would like to use I'm still thinking about including a few more items that I would use locations- Becaus...

 

 Rise- Film Opening- the first thing I noticed when watching this video was something I really liked it was when he put on his headphones and the music he was listening to was then the music the audience was listening to. I also liked the fact that he put all his stuff down and it gave a close up of each item in my opinion this created suspense and I felt like something was going to happen. The time when 2 different songs are both playing at the same time is also something I observed. I also personally liked the transition from the soccer ball to the other dude. When he takes his headphones off the music stops and I liked that. At the end of the film I liked the real close ups of each of the actors faces it made me feel like I needed to watch whatever was going to come after. What connotations do the images carry? The image evokes a suspenseful thinking How is the genre reinforced through symbolism? The whole movie is strongly based on CGI and the camera angles with Thanos in it are established and close. Transitions are also quick.

The images of the desert are prioritized to emphasize the location as well as Tony Stark and some of the soldiers laughing right before the convoy is ambushed.   What connotations do the images carry? The desert carries an eerie feeling, almost like the audience expect something to happen to the convoy carrying Tony Stark.   How is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset? The genre is reinforced throughout the ambush in the middle of the opening scene.
