Evaluating Peer Reviews
Summary- From the 9 peer reviews I received most of the key criticisms was the overly loud music at the beginning and end as well as adding more transitions and cuts and using more effects. While I was reading them I would go back and play the video and I had to agree with the loud music I plan to lower the volume.

   What specific
elements of the film opening did you like? |

   Was there anything
that left you confused? (be specific) |

   What suggestions do
  you have for changes? |

|
   I like that the plot
  was very clear |

   N/A |

   I suggest that you
shorten the jump-roping and boxing clips, I felt that they were a little too
long. Maybe add one or two other exercises. |

|
   I like the music, it
  fits well. |

   I loved the intensity
of the background music from the get-go. This really demonstrated the main character's
intensity, and the drama of the upcoming fight. |

   I wasn't confused, as
it was clear that the main character was simply preparing for a fight. |

   The scenes were a bit
long, like the one of the main character jump roping. I found myself
questioning if that would last for the entirety of the video. The fact that
the main character is training can be demonstrated by shorter clips that last
a maximum of 10 seconds. Maybe even adding some dramatic slow motion shots of
the gloves being put on or when she is punching the bag would help fill the
  empty space. |

|
   I like the music, it
fit with the whole idea of the opener where she is training. |

   Is she preparing for
  a boxing match? |

   There should be more
scenes than just the two of her training. |

   I think they did a
great job at picking a song that fits the energy. The beat of the song
resembles feet stomping and clapping, like a crowd hyping up a fight. I also
like that they actually dressed up in gym clothes and did the workouts
throughout, instead of cutting the scenes up to give themselves breaks. It
feels like we’re watching someone workout instead of just watching a montage. |

   However, the scenes
felt drawn on with the same repetitive music and action. I always thought a
cut was coming up but it never did. |

   I suggest adding in
more angles and cuts to add more interest and energy to the workout scenes. I
also suggest trying to find a way to get better angles because it currently
feels like a youtube video instead of a movie opening! |

|
   I liked the music
quite a bit, and the transitions between the workouts. |

   The title gave
context to the rest of the opener, so I personally had no confusion. |

   The music at the
beginning is extremely loud in like the first 2 seconds, balance it out with
the volume of the rest and it'll be great. |

|
   I liked the music she
  used for her film |

   The story she was
trying to go for is understandable but, I think she could have went about it
  a little differently |

   She should edit the
music because it was very loud at the end and beginning. She should also add
some dialogue and more clips because she really only had like three clips to
her film. She should try making it more interesting or more exciting |

|
   What I liked about
the film, was the music. The music showed that something big was coming and
  you clarified it. |

   What left me confused
was fight. What does the fight represent, why are you fighting? |

All I would say is to
add details about what is the reasoning behind the fight. |
